I remember watching Coach Clint play when I was younger and how good he was. Well, he has become an even better coach! Being a pro athlete, I know that skill development is a necessary part of survival when you’re competing on the highest level. And the highest level is a Coach Clint workout! Players on all levels respond to him and he is always coming up with something new and innovative. Any ball player would be crazy NOT to work with him! Coach Clint is an outstanding coach and motivator.

As Vice-President & General Manager of the Washington Mystics, I had the privilege of working directly with Clinton for a year when we hired him as Director of Player Development. Player Development was a priority for our team, so we were very selective in filling that role. Clint exceeded our expectations and played a pivotal role in assisting our team to its best record in franchise history and an Eastern Conference Championship.”
“During my collegiate coaching career and subsequent fourteen-year career with the NBA/WNBA family, Clinton is one of the most impressive individuals that I have had the opportunity to work with. His knowledge of the intricacies of the game of basketball, his passion for teaching, and his commitment to ensuring that his student-athletes and players are successful on and off the court are commendable.

I can’t think of anyone in the DMV that combines basketball knowledge, work ethic, and moral aptitude better than Clinton Crouch. He is a proven winner at EVERY level as both a player and a coach and he ABSOLUTELY loves the game of basketball! There is NOT a better instructor of not only the fundamentals of basketball but more importantly, overall character development.

Meeting Coach Clint back in 2003 is one of the best things that ever happened to me. I’ve learned so much from him as a man and player, that I owe a large part of my success to him. You can spot a lot of fake people in this business, but this guy CARES! He’s been a consistent figure in my life for a long time and there’s no doubt in my mind that he played a major part in me getting to where I am today. And he can PLAY too!!

He played for me in high school and worked for me as a coach during several summers at the Beltway Basketball Academy at Bowie State University. He has shown a motivation to succeed as a player and coach that is extremely rare. He was one of the top scoring players in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area during his senior year…
He has a unique blend of qualities that make him an exceptional coach. He is a student of the game and understands how to coach young men. He is very caring and goes to great lengths to mentor his players beyond just the game, but to become outstanding citizens and young men. His balance of quality and concern instill great loyalty and devotion from his players and he has guided many of them to receiving college scholarships.
He has shown the ability to follow and lead, direct and execute, inspire and motivate. He is a tremendous role model for young women and men, in particular.

In addition to raising a family and being a good husband, son and brother, Clinton has always found time to get involved in life around him. Unlike many people these days, whenever he adopts a cause or pursues a new interest he is guaranteed to be highly committed.
I met Clinton four years ago when my younger brother got off track and began messing up in school. My brother’s grades began to slip and he had very little respect for his basketball coach. That summer, Clinton began training my little brother to help him improve. My younger brother showed the upmost respect, work ethic, hustle, and effort for him daily. Each evening he mentioned something that Clinton had said or taught him. After doing my background check on Clinton, I realized that he valued and stressed education and we decided he should transfer and play for Coach Crouch.
My brother finished his senior year on honor roll, had a tremendous senior year on the court and received a scholarship to college. All this was spearheaded and driven by Clinton’s principles. I have seen him do the same for at least 30 other young men over the past 6 years. More important than anything else, Clinton helps to turn boys into men.

I can’t say enough about Coach Crouch. I have watched players of all different skill levels develop and improve in his program. He is very good at improving player’s weaknesses and making their strengths even stronger while building confidence on the court. As a parent and a coach, I appreciate how his workouts challenge players to reach their potential.

As a college basketball coach, over the past twenty-one years, I have traveled throughout the country and come into contact with many coaches on every level imaginable.
I have gotten to know Coach Crouch over this past year and he immediately struck me as one of the brightest young coaches that I have encountered. I have been particularly impressed with his communication skills, his knowledge of the game of basketball and his commitment to young people.
— Rob Lanier + Associate Head Coach University of Texas Longhorn
Coach Crouch has really helped take my game to another level with his skill work and helping me expand my game. He pushes me to really work hard and as a professional athlete, when you continue to see improvements and results, you continue to come back!

I’ve been around this game for a looong time and there are few skill trainers, if any at all, that are more dedicated and better at their craft than Clint. Any athlete that is serious about taking their career to heights unseen, needs to connect with him. All a player has to do is match the intensity that he brings to his workouts, and they will find success. I don’t care if you’re preparing for high school tryouts or the NBA Pre-Draft camp, there is nobody better!

If it wasn’t for the work that I put in with Clint, there is NO WAY that I would be playing as well as I am now. Last season I averaged 11 ppg playing overseas. After an entire summer with Clint, I am averaging 25 ppg in Finland’s 1st Division. I am in position to be financially secure because he got me right!

…see, my son has an abundance of talent, but he was always very small in stature. Crouch was the first coach who just saw the player in our son and not his size. Coach Crouch showed up at Lil Chris’s middle school games to support him and give advice. My wife and I thought surprisingly, “This guy is doing exactly what he said he would do!” What a welcoming surprise! He also took our nephew in and started training him along side his varsity team.
I have watched him over the last five years interact with all the young men and women whose lives he has influenced; he has made a great difference. Every kid that has played for him and trained with him, since we have had the pleasure of knowing Coach Crouch, comes back to support and help all of the new players. This is a tribute to the man who gives his life to his craft and the development of our young men.
